The Rottweiler Rescue Foundation Rescue Grant Program Purpose
The Rottweiler Rescue Foundation is established for the purpose of supporting groups that are actively involved in rescuing Rottweilers. Grants provided under this program shall be used to rescue Rottweilers and to provide veterinary care for Rescued Rottweilers.
POLICY
These groups, as well as any member of a supporting club, including members of the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation Board of Directors, are prohibited from participating directly in the Rottweiler rescue process in the name of the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation or the name of any supporting club. This prohibition extends to and includes casual contact with the rescued dog for any purpose.
This prohibition shall not be interpreted to mean that board members and supporting club members may not, as independent individuals or groups, participate in the rescue of Rottweilers. The manner in which the rescue is performed shall clearly indicate that the service is offered by an independent individual or group. Under no condition shall any suggestion be made that the service is offered by the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation or any of the supporting clubs.
If any individual or group should participate in the rescue process in the name of the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation or in the name of any supporting club, he/she shall be subject to the charges and disciplinary action of the offended clubs and shall forfeit all rights to apply for future Grants.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING
Any group or individual, that is actively involved in rescuing Rottweilers, is eligible to apply for a Rottweiler Rescue Foundation Grant. All those applying must have a specific rescue policy established and rigorously adhered to.
